Hi there, I am Carlijn. I am photographer, graphic designer, stylist, editor, creative content creator (and singer/songwriter but that’s for another time). I would like to share with you some of my ideas.
I’ve always known I wanted to create. Whether it’s taking pictures or writing songs, I’m at my best when I roll up my sleeves and start a new project.
During my studies at Academie Artemis (2014-2018) in Amsterdam, I focussed on creating new media, fashion, interior and food concepts, based on contemporary social developments. As a part of my studies, I did an internship for six months at Studio Room, which is a company specialised in concept and design for magazines and brochures, like LINDA magazine and the Consumentengids.
After my graduation-project ‘Save The Hug’, which is about social distancing and physical contact, I became an ‘allround stylist’.
Over the last two years I have fallen more and more in love with photography and finished a course at the Nederlandse Fotovakschool in Rotterdam. That’s why my latest projects include a lot of digital and analog photography.
